Storm's Mission Statement:
The Storm is a fast pitch softball team that was formed to provide an opportunity for girls looking for a more competitive level of play. Our mission is to build solid fundamentals that will help carry each player through High School and beyond and enhance the overall well being of each girl.
About Storm
In June, 2007, several area players and parents expressed an interest in a competitive, tournament softball team. So a couple parents and 14 girls met, formed a team, picked colors and a name, ordered uniforms and headed out to their first tournament. That was the beginning of a 'snowball' effect in the Southwest corner of Wisconsin.
Since that day, Storm has experienced tremendous growth. They went from a 12U team in 2007 to a 12U and 14U team in 2008. Storm now fields 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U teams!
This growth is evidence of the need for a program such as Storm in this corner of Wisconsin. Players come from as far north as Richland Center; as far south as Cuba City: from Fennimore to the west side of Madison.
Storm is also fortunate to have coaches that bring a very solid understanding of the fundamentals of the sport. They bring a lot of coaching experience as well as ASA tournament experience at the Gold and National level!
Our coaches are committed to the committed softball player!
