brief description is the recommended liturature.

- In this beginning project, you don't have to own a horse or pony. You just need a desire
to learn about horses, including horse behaviors, terms, breeds, identification, selection,
grooming and much more.
BU8053 Giddu Up and Go

- In this intermediate project, you will learn about horsemanship, judging, oral reasons,
unsoundness, tack, training, showing, riding skills, feeding and much more.
BU8054 Head, Heart and Hooves

- In this advanced project, experienced horsemen will explore horse breeding, genetics and heredity,
controlling parasites, fencing and pasturing, housing and much more.
BU8055 Stable Relationships

- In this project, you will learn riding skills and everything you need to know before you get on
a horse for the first time. Activities include training a horse, round pen workout, how to ride
in a group, basic riding skills and much more.
BU8056 Riding the Range

- In this project, you will discover the ins and outs of showing your horse. Activities include
setting goals, comparing costs of show clothing, pre-show fitting techniques, rating your
showmanship skills and much more.

model horses. The project is ideal for members who may not be able to own and show live horses.

- Learn how to make your own riding apparel and horse equipment, develop sewing and other creative
skills, understand textile selection and care.
